No - and that is deliberate. You (or your screening bureau) perform checks; GuardVett manages the living file: progress, deadlines, references, evidence, decisions and the audit pack. Keep your bureau; GuardVett makes their output audit ready.
No. BS 7858 calls for a public record search - CCJs, IVAs, bankruptcy, electoral roll and linked addresses. No credit scores are involved and GuardVett labels it accurately.

Only named users who are themselves screened and hold in-date BS 7858 screening training. GuardVett records screener competence, and when the standard or screening guidance changes, sign-off rights pause until each screener has acknowledged the change and completed any refresher training - delivered through the platform by ISO Academy, ICUK's training arm. Nobody can action their own file.

The retention engine holds leaver records for employment plus seven years (and 12 months for candidates unsuccessful at preliminary screening), then flags them for a deletion review. Nothing is deleted silently.
